3 weeks left...

and then i'm a senior!  ya baby YA!  i am so excited...but a little bit scared and apprehensive at the same time.  i am so ready for a fun year.  and yet, i'm not quite ready for my last year.  so many things to think about...college, major, ap english, SATs in two weeks, exams in three weeks, finishing school for crying at loud!  i know i need to live day by day, but that's always a challenge.

Jesus, please be by my side these last weeks, give me closure with this awesome senior class, help me to stay focused on my academics, let me be excited and not worried about classes next year, and prepare my heart to be "the oldest" next year.  Thank you for this year and all it's challenges and fun times.  Thank you for the friends i've made and the growth that has happened within me.  Thank you for my family and the blessing they are in my life.  Let me remember lessons learned this year and to not forget them.  Be with my friends, here and in the states, help me to serve and love others, let me be like You.

AMEN.

Dancing...

...pretty much rocks my world!

Tim is an amazingly fun person to dance with...he's so good!  he knows lotsa moves and taught me a bunch.

We swing danced the night away because Sonne and Blauen had their 50's Diner open house and it was really cool...great job guys!  Good theme choice...

Dancing with Beth was pretty fun too...hehehe...acting like retards is so funny!  =P

I really want to learn how to swing dance more now...it's SO much fun.

Ya know how every person has some kind of irrational demand about the person they're gonna marry???

Well i think mine would be:

he has to dance...and he has to dance well.

My mom laughed at that one.  but hey...that's why it's called an irrational demand.

Today we also had middleschool play practice...hehe...those kids make me laugh so hard.

Me and my mom have a new favorite song = Stray Cat Strut

Hahaha...it's such a good one.  We were dancing up a storm in the kitchen and laughing like hyenas because my bro kept running away from us when we started to dance or sing or even if he heard the words "stray cat strut." 

O man some days are just so silly. 

But combined with the sillyness is work...cuz i wrote more of my paper...I'm almost there, I'm almost there.  Highschool retreat has given me such joy, and I love it.

why i love my friend(s)

• he cheered me up and made me happy on a day when love floats in the air
• they filmed a ridiculous MTV wannabe movie with me
• she laughed with me at nothing in particular till our stomachs hurt in chemistry
• he gives me good hugs
• they sung with me when i played disney music during dish crew at sonne
• she and i got addicted to msg together
• she talked in "the romania missions trip insider language" with me and we laughed our secretive laugh
• she and i wrote an amazing round without even trying to
• she named me peanut butter, a nickname i actually like
• she shivered under my umbrella with me and told me to keep the umbrella over my head or i would get sick, like her rain-soaked self =)
• she wrote me an email and told me how her life (and her boy toy =P) is going
• i can talk to them about anything in the universe
• they make me laugh, the kind of laugh that releases bad feelings and brings in wonderful ones
• they challenge how i think, they're the voices inside my head
• they're such a vital part of life

in 15 months, my love will be shattered, scattered and strewn across the globe, from one end to the other.

15 months guys.
